Middle East’s first Longevity Science Semester Symposium held in Dubai

 

 

Dubai, UAE, 19 February 2025: The Middle East’s first Longevity Science Semester Symposium concluded in Dubai with global experts delivering exclusive insights on translating global healthcare innovation into quality-of-life improvements for future generations.

 

Geneva College of Longevity Science, the world’s first academic institute focusing on longevity science, partnered with Dubai Science Park, part of TECOM Group PJSC , to host the symposium, supported by the Longevity Think Tank, a global network fostering innovation and education.

 

The Longevity Science Semester Symposium took place on 13-14 February at Dubai Knowledge Park and addressed opportunities in the burgeoning global longevity sector. Dr Younis Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Healthcare Corporation; Prof Dr Dominik Thor, President of Geneva College of Longevity Science and Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi, Senior Vice President of Dubai Science Park, Dubai Knowledge Park, and Dubai International Academic City at TECOM Group, were among the senior officials in attendance at the event.

 

Experts from healthcare and life science industry leaders, such as UAE Stem Cell Group, Emirates Lifestyle Medicine and Longevity Medicine Society, Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, and University of Birmingham Dubai, shared crucial insights to shape the future of longevity during the two-day event.

 

The event delivered a groundbreaking programme of talks and panel discussions designed to transform longevity science research into actionable solutions.

 

Aligned with We the UAE 2031, Dubai Economic Agenda ‘D33’, and Dubai Research and Development Programme, the partnership between Dubai Science Park and Geneva College of Longevity Science underscores a shared commitment to driving progress through education.
